Thank you all for joining us last year and making our camp the success that it was. We hope you will all come and join us again next year!

 

We now have a new VENUE for this next year! It is called COXWOOD CAMPSITE and is in WREXHAM IN WALES! We will be celebrating Summer Solstice Weekend, and the dates will be 18th - 20th June 2010. Grid reference is SJ 370555. Postcode is LL12 0BH.

    Coxwood is 12 acres of ancient natural woodland, with clearings for camping.

Workshops will include Morning Yoga, Chanting the Goddess, Circle Dance, Shamanic Drumming, Power Chants, Mask Making, Hand Massage + more T.B.A

    In the evenings we will be around the campfire at specially made campfire circle. On Friday we will start with the opening ceremony, then chanting and drumming.

    On Saturday, don't miss our fabulous Summer Sulstice Celebration Ceremony. During this ceremony, we will be honouring the Goddess through a Druid Shamanic Ritual around the campfire. This will include connecting with our power animals, circle dance, chanting the Awen + Trance Dance.

A workshop schedule will be available by email 1 week before camp.

    There will also be activities of Archery, an inside Shooting Range, BMX bike riding on a track and pedal Go Karts on a track, all on limited availability.

The cost for Archery + Shooting are £10 each. The cost for BMX bike riding + Pedal Go Karts is £5-00 per half hour. Three BMX bikes + 3 pedal go carts can be hired at one time. All must be booked in advance. These will take place on Sunday.

There is also an adventure playground, a basketball net and a field to kick around a football for the kids, and these are free.

    Cost will be £65 per person for the whole weekend, which will include all named workshops. SPECIAL OFFER!!! Book before Winter Solstice and the cost will be £55 p.p. Traders and service providers are welcome at the rate of £20 a day, + £20 camping fee, but please be aware this a small gathering of no more than 120 people.

We would like to stress that Archery + Shooting will be for recreational purposes only, and that the commitee + myself do no believe in violence of any kind. These are merely for entertainment and target practice, but we recognise that these are popular pursuits and are available on site.

There are numerous activities neaby offsite and these include Foothills of Wales, Outdoor Climbing/Abseiling, Indoor Climbing, Water Activities, City of Chester.

A short walk away there is a regular bus service between Wrexham + Chester.

There are mains toilets and showers. The bistro will be open for simple breakfast, lunch and evening meal.

We finish the weekend on Sunday at around 5 p.m., when you can all go home and reflect upon your lovely weekend spent in such magnificent surroundings.
